Located in Les Arcs-Sur-Argens, near the renowned bay of Saint-Tropez and the picturesque attractions of Cannes, the Gorges du Verdon, and Aix-en-Provence, lies Château Sainte Roseline. This esteemed estate holds the prestigious title of a Classified Site and an Estate Cru Classé AOP-Côtes de Provence, making it one of the most sought-after destinations in the region.
The story of Château Sainte Roseline dates back to the 10th century when a hermit named Roubaud sought solace in the abundant spring found on the estate. What started as a modest oratory gradually grew into an Abbey known as Celle-Roubaud. In the 14th century, Château Sainte Roseline emerged as one of the pioneering vineyards in Provence, setting the stage for its remarkable viticultural legacy.

In 1950, the estate witnessed a significant milestone with the Baroness of Rasque de Laval, the former owner, introducing the distinctive bottle shape used for the iconic Lampe de Méduse cuvée. The bottle design ingeniously combines the base of a perfume bottle from Grasse with the body reminiscent of an Alsace wine bottle. Five years later, Château Sainte Roseline was bestowed with the prestigious Cru Classé appellation, solidifying its position among the region’s finest wineries.
In 1994, the property transitioned into the hands of Bernard Teillaud, a visionary property developer from the Grenoble region, who acquired Château Sainte Roseline from Baron Henri de Rasque de Laval. The year 2007 marked a generational shift as Aurélie Bertin, daughter of Bernard Teillaud, assumed the helm of the company. In 2011, the estate witnessed further continuity as Aurélie Bertin and Delphine Meunier, daughters of Monsieur Teillaud, took over the reins of the vineyard.
Today, the AOP Côtes de Provence Cru Classé vineyard spans an impressive 110 hectares, cultivating 11 different grape varieties. This diversity allows Château Sainte Roseline to produce a range of exceptional rosé, white, and red wines within its esteemed vineyard. The vineyard team meticulously tends to the vines throughout the year, employing meticulous cultural practices to enhance berry concentration and quality.

Demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement, Château Sainte Roseline has implemented an innovative and cutting-edge sorting system, elevating the quality of their wines to new heights. The estate’s state-of-the-art vinification cellar, covering 800 m2, is equipped with a multitude of thermo-regulated vats, providing the winemaking team with an exceptional tool for crafting their wines.
Beyond winemaking, Château Sainte Roseline has embraced a pioneering role in Corporate Social Responsibility. The estate prioritizes sustainable development, integrating environmental, economic, and societal considerations into every facet of its operations, from vineyard practices to bottle design. Recognizing these efforts, the estate was awarded the Vignerons Engagés label in April 2021, the first CSR label in the wine sector. Additionally, the estate holds ISO 26000 certification at the “confirmed” level from AFNOR, further affirming its commitment to responsible practices.
