Bodega Casarena

Luján de Cuyo, Argentina

This wine project is located in Perdriel, near Mendoza, within the centennial building of an old winery from 1937. The project explores the diverse expressions of a single varietal by studying different soil types within Luján de Cuyo. With unique geographical profiles and a focus on interpretation, they create wines that have a distinctive character, showcasing the strength of the region. They are committed to sustainability and hold vegan and sustainable certifications, with ongoing efforts to obtain an organic certification. Their vineyards reflect their values and commitment to the environment, with sustainable practices in place and plans for organic certification.

The wine project exclusively uses grapes from their own vineyards, ensuring control over the winemaking process. Research and development are integral to their approach, with a belief that exceptional wines are crafted through these efforts. The vineyards are a reflection of their commitment to quality and sustainability. Lauren Vineyard already holds a sustainable certificate, while Jamilla Vineyard is actively working towards organic certification. In addition, all their wines are vegan certified, catering to consumers with specific dietary preferences. The project exemplifies a dedication to ethical and environmentally friendly winemaking practices, with a strong emphasis on research and development.
