She is an IWC Mexico Ambassador, Judge at Global Wine El Conocedor Magazine, Board Member and Member of the Mexican Sommelier Association, Sommelier at DO Ribera del Duero and Wine educator for California Wines.
Michelle has more than ten years of formal wine education through various programs, and she is a content creator for The EasyWine an online educational platform. Her educational approach is: Making wine understandable and enjoyable for everyone, based on the highest wine certifications worldwide in an agile and fun way.
Michelle is a lover of the Shiraz and Viognier grapes, groopie of Californian wines, enraptured by the aromas and the way in which they are produced with a deep passion for how the components of wine interact with different factors such as music, setting, food and any other element that perfects the experience.
She is a qualified sommelier, Michelle holds the Diploma International Sommelier Association ASI, WSET’s Advanced Certification and the Diploma Champagne Master Specialist at Wine Scholar Guild. She is also a specialist in water tasting.
Michelle is also a Certified Sommelier of the Court of Master Sommeliers, Certified Sommelier at Society of Wine Educators, a California Wine Appellation Specialist at San Francisco Wine School, and a student at Mexican Tea School.
