The harvest is for them the renewal of the contract they have with a way of living life. When they cut a bunch, the value of hard work as a family and the value of thinking beyond immediacy are present.
Trevelin Valley, Argentina
Almost a decade ago, they planted the first Pinot Noir vines in a land where there was no history or experience. Today this region is recognized with the Trevelin Valley Geographical Indication. Over the years, they added strains such as Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc, up to almost 3 hectares planted. These vineyards allow them to make more than 12,000 bottles per year that express the identity of the terroir.
Grandfather and grandmother, father and son, three generations are present in Viñas del Nant and Fall. And each one has a role in this life project that was inspired by the Italian ancestors of the Friuli, who planted grapes on a hill similar to the one that today houses the vines in this Patagonian corner.
