The Try Wives make Custom Wine

By WIA

Whether it’s to perfect your favourite blend or to broaden your palate with new variations, custom wine can be a lot of fun!

The first blend up for tasting is the local expert Michael’s blend. With a mix of Zinfandel and Syrah they create a pleasant and interesting flavour that the whole group enjoys. The Try Wives proceed to come up with their own blends, well suited for their preferences now that they’ve gained some knowledge about how the wines blend with each other.

“I usually tell people the first sip that you have of each of these wines, drink it like you normally do. You know why we have to be blindfolded? It’s because it heightens all of your other…Senses! You can hear what the wine is saying. Drink me! Drink me!” – Michael

I do like red wine better. – I like red wine better.
– Oh, you do? – 100% yeah

The Try Wives

Just looking at a wine will actually tell you what’s going on with those three things.

“The basic fundamentals of wine tasting: acidity, sweetness, and body or texture.”
