Amanda Barnes is South American wine expert and award-winning wine writer. Her wine adventure began in 2009, when she left her home in England to head out to the other side of the world –  South America. As Amanda says: “I figured the best place to learn about wine was in a place where they make it and South America had always lured me from afar”.Therefore, she quitted her job as editor at the local newspaper, packed a backpack and bought a ticket to Argentina.

Since then Amanda spent most of her time in vineyards of Chile and Argentina. She specialised in their wine regions and wrote for different books and magazines.
