Owned by the Dillon family since the 1930s, the estate is currently managed by fourth-generation Prince Robert of Luxembourg along with two other estates, a revered wine shop, and a two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris.
Booking a visit to the 53-hectare estate in Graves is essential but worth it. Within the main château is an evocative circular wine library designed personally by Prince Robert, along with a wine museum featuring viticultural paraphernalia dating back to Roman times. Château Pape Clément is a grand cru wine estate in the Pessac-Léognan appellation situated in the Graves viticultural area. Known to be one of the oldest Bordeaux Grands Crus, the estate’s vineyard was established by Bertrand de Goth, who in 1305 became Pope Clément V, the name which was subsequently given to the Château. The first harvest there took place in 1252, laying the foundations for an outstanding cultural heritage. In 1980 Bernard Magrez acquired the estate.

Château Brane-Mouton has a rich history, with Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild acquiring the estate in 1853.
