Champagne de Barfontarc

Baroville, France

In 1962, a group of visionary winemakers from the picturesque villages of Baroville, Fontaine, and Arconville in the Aube department of France came together to establish the Coopérative Vinicole de la Région de Baroville. Initially a modest pressing center, this cooperative soon blossomed into something extraordinary, giving birth to its own brand of champagne, known today as “De Barfontarc.” Nestled in the heart of the renowned Côte des Bar region, the De Barfontarc Champagne House has become a symbol of excellence, offering a wide range of exquisite champagnes that reflect the unique terroir of the southern Champagne region.

The winemakers of De Barfontarc, with their unwavering dedication and commitment to their craft, have harnessed the essence of the Côte des Bar terroir. Cultivating vineyards spanning 125 hectares across eight surrounding villages, these passionate vintners have perfected the art of producing fruity champagnes that are celebrated for their distinctive character. Year after year, De Barfontarc champagnes earn prestigious accolades and medals, a testament to their unwavering pursuit of excellence.
