Stephanie Alexandra Häni Vílchez is a professional photographer who made wine the center of her artwork. For the most part of her life she has been living between Spain and Switzerland and loves both countries. Stephanie grew up being bilingual and always loved learning new languages. Since her childhood, she had it pretty clear that she wanted to work as a photographer. Stephanie started her first photo studies in 2009 in Marbella (Spain), after that she studied art and artistic photography.

Stephanie worked in the hospitality sphere when she met her life partner who turned to be a professional sommelier. In 2018 the couple was living in Zürich (Switzerland) and Stephanie’s partner won the best Young Sommelier title of Gaggenau award. He was offered an interview and Stephanie was invited as a photographer. To make good photos, Stephanie did her research on Wine Photography, but all she could find that time was the classic photo of a Sommelier smelling the wine glass in a wine cellar.

Stephanie came up with the idea of doing a different kind of wine photography. However it was not until the end of summer 2019 that she started an Instagram page to promote this kind of wine photography. Since that moment, every time Stephanie and her partner travelled to a winery, she took a few crazy photos.
On her journey to the new understanding of wine, she meets a lot of amazing people who share the same goal – to make wine world more attractive to younger generations, bring more fun into it and spice it with a punch of craziness. Wine is a kind of Art after all and all Artists have a crazy side!
