Olga Sofia Schiaffino
Olga was elected the Best Sommelier of Liguria and received the WSET level 3. Her story with wine started in 2011 when she enrolled in a course to become a sommelier, because she wanted to understand what was in her glass: she is curious and always likes to learn more. Olga also graduated in medicine.
She discovered that wine is much more than just a drink; understood by the ancients as a means of communication with the divine, it tells about the maker, the territory of origin, the year in which it was produced.
Fascinated by the world of wine, Olga thought of creating a blog where she could write about Wine, Men and Stories together with fellow travelers, fellow sommeliers, who share this passion: this is how her Blog Wine Lovers Italy was born!
Olga also collaborated with Salvo Foti (I Vigneri) for homeopathic management on an experimental basis in a vineyard on Etna. An official taster and a speaker at the courses for the lesson on Sicily and Sardinia, she has been very active on social networks with the @wineloversitaly profile.
Wine Influencer: @wineloversitaly
Olga is also the winner of the survey proposed by The Fork in the Wine Influencer category. She is the creator and curator of the first Social guide “I Vini Del Cuore” (The wines of the heart). She also collaborates as a Social media coach with companies and partners in the world of wine. Communicating wine with passion and respect is my desire and my commitment.
