Martha Cisneros is the Wine Blogger, Content Creator, and Sommelier in the works behind WineDivaa.com. She earned her nickname ‘WineDivaa’ in College, where her friends used to ask for wine recommendations. She graduated from Tec de Monterrey, one of only 45 universities in the World to be ranked with 5 QS Stars, with a Degree in Engineering focused on Computer Technologies. She continued her professional studies by completing a Master’s in Information Science and Knowledge Management. With a prosperous career of 15 years, she is a lifelong learner and now immersing herself in wine enjoyment and professional studies.

Martha holds a WSET 2 diploma with merit. In addition, she is a student of the programs Italian Wine Scholar and a Sherry Wine Scholar from the Wine Scholar Guild. Furthermore, the Court Master of Sommeliers recently awarded her the Scholarship to complete the Introduction to Sommelier course. Moreover, she defines herself as a wine lover.

She is a versatile professional and entrepreneur. In 2020, amidst the pandemic, she founded Latinas Wine Club Inc., a community and technological platform to support and connect Latina wine professionals and enthusiasts as well as Educate, Empower and Elevate through Wine. Creating awareness for the lack of Latino representation was immediately embraced by members of the Instagram community. Currently, @latinaswineclub evolved into more than a social meeting point, it became a virtual space for Latinas to learn about wine while supporting one another through their wine journey.

Being born and raised in the northeast of Mexico after living in New York City –and now in Long Island– for over ten years, Martha considers herself a New Yorker. However, between Mexico and the USA, she lived in Spain. She was an international student in Madrid and Barcelona, where she reconnected with her Spanish roots and rediscovered a new way to enjoy food, wine, and spirits. 

Therefore, she decided to learn more about wine, read back labels, and share her wine journey on Instagram. Her unique perspective has attracted an audience of 17K followers around the globe. In New York, she hosts wine tastings for the community and personal clients. Media outlets have recognized her as a unique, culturally aware voice for millennial wine lovers.
