Established in 1942 by Désiré Rolet, Domaine Rolet stands as a shining gem in the illustrious Jura vineyard. The Rolet family’s four children – Pierre, Eliane, Guy, and Bernard – took the reins, dividing responsibilities within the estate. Through hard work and dedication, the Rolet family swiftly ascended to become a benchmark within the vineyard.
Their wines eloquently showcase the terroir’s richness, encompassing a wide range of local grape varieties and appellations: Arbois, Côtes du Jura, L’Étoile, and Château-Chalon. Chardonnay and Savagnin, including the prestigious yellow wine, exemplify their white wine selection, while Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir highlight the red wine offerings.

In 2018, the Rolet family entrusted the estate to three passionate families deeply committed to wine and the Jura region:
- The Flambert family, with a longstanding heritage in the hotel industry.
- The Dupuis family, entrepreneurs specializing in sports equipment.
- The Devillard family, esteemed winegrowers in Burgundy.
This transition reflects a long-term vision, aiming to strike a harmonious balance between tradition and modernity, an ethos that has shaped the estate over the past eight decades. Showcasing the diverse array of Jura wines and preserving their distinctive identity has been the estate’s guiding principle, leading to a consistent level of excellence recognized with each passing vintage.

Under the leadership of Cédric DUCOTÉ as Stage Manager, Chloé WEBER as Cellar Master, and Louis MOREL as Vineyard Manager, the current team continues to write a new chapter while honoring the esteemed Rolet identity. They embrace their roles with passion and dedication, furthering the legacy of the estate.
Domaine Rolet encompasses 66 hectares of prime vineyard sites across the esteemed AOCs of Arbois, Côtes du Jura, L’Étoile, and Château-Chalon. This extensive landholding places the estate second among independent wineries in the Jura, a testament to its significance within the region.
