Karla and André Baader are a couple of professional chefs and wine enthusiasts from Brazil. They started their journey into the world of wine and food, when they left their countries, Brazil and Guatemala,  their full-time jobs,  friends and family to become chefs and sommeliers and to get new life experiences.

On their way they faced new challenges, learnt new cultures and languages in pursuit of their goals, but they did not give up and made their dreams come true. In total, Karla and André have visited 97 countries looking for food wine and experiences and connecting people in the wine industry.

Karla and André met in a hotel at Disney, both working as chefs, then got married and instead of having a wedding party they used the money to go backpacking through 19 countries. They liked this experience and so started working on a cruise ship in Hawaii which seemed to be a perfect match for their passion for traveling and cooking. 

When the job contract came to an end, they decided to take an around the world tour. Primary goal was to add more value to their careers as chefs and sommeliers, but then it turned to be into something even more meaningful and they launched the Locoporvino.com project.
