Phil discovered the perfect location in the Sexton vineyard near Gruyere, naming the winery after John Coltrane’s album, “Giant Steps.” With Winemaker Steve Flamsteed on board since 2003, they have elevated Australia’s reputation for cool-climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir through meticulous vineyard management and a loyal following.
