Tragically, Joseph’s son lost his life in the First World War. However, his daughter, Jeanne, married Marius AURIAN, and together they carried on the family legacy.

His dedication and passion for the craft earned AURIAN a prestigious award for its Armagnac in 1932. Marius’s son, Jean, continued the tradition as a distiller and merchant. To pay homage to Jean’s innovative spirit, each luxury box now includes a silk handkerchief for wiping away the wax remnants, just as he did.

In 2018, the baton was passed to the new generation, Isabella and Florent, who took over the family business.
