Born in Tuscany among the waves and the masks of Viareggio Carnival, Elena Palmerini spent years travelling around the world. She was about 22 years old when she reached international success in the mixology sphere and she decided to go for the search for a new passion.  Thus her new adventure path began hand in hand with Bacchus.

Elena took her first AIS course (Italian Sommelier Association) with a certain degree of skepticism and not too much enthusiasm. However, it was enough to make her lose her head for this world: she completed all three levels in the minimum time, three years. After that, when she was only 24 years old, she was offered a job of a purchasing manager and wine importer for an important Asian hotellerie company in Singapore.

Later Elena came back to Europe, where she lived in Milan and she held managerial positions in renowned establishments such as the Armani Hotel. In the meantime, she continued her theoretical and practical training, broadening her horizons until she reached the level of Food & Beverage Manager. Elena was successfully working in the sphere of training for international associations, consultancy and start-ups until one day when she realized that she still needed new inspiration in life.
