In 2000, Jason and Molly Drew founded Drew Winery with a clear vision: crafting exceptional, small-batch wines that showcase the unique attributes of cool climate sites and traditional grape varieties. Their journey led them to a neglected 26-acre apple orchard in Mendocino Ridge Appellation, where others saw challenges, they saw potential – ancient oceanic soils, south-facing slopes at 1250 ft elevation just above the fogline, and a genuine coastal climate with the ocean a mere 3.3 miles away. Embracing this opportunity, they established the Drew estate winery at Faîte De Mer Farm.

At Faîte De Mer Farm, certified organic and following decades of high-standard farming, Jason, a seasoned vigneron with extensive experience in vineyard farming and winemaking, employs traditional methods like whole cluster and native yeast fermentations, hand punchdowns, and minimal fining or filtering. The eight-acre vineyard comprises California heritage field selections, Dijon clones of Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, all chosen for their climate, clonal variety, and soil complexity. While Faîte De Mer Farm remains their primary focus, Jason and Molly also hold several Anderson Valley & Mendocino Ridge sites in high regard.
