Domaine Carneros

Winery Star

Wine Leaders' Choice

Napa Valley, USA

A landmark California estate winery and château, Domaine Carneros is renowned as a small grower-producer of méthode traditionelle sparkling and estate Pinot Noir. The Domaine Carneros Château was inspired by the classic 18th century Château de la Marquetterie in Champagne, France. Its expansive outdoor terrace provides an idyllic setting for your wine tasting experience

Founded by the noble family behind Champagne Taittinger, Domaine Carneros was established in 1987 when Claude Taittinger selected a 138-acre parcel in the heart of Carneros, Napa Valley. In 2020, after 33 years, Crane passed the torch to a new CEO, Remi Cohen, whose role carries on the Taittinger tradition of visionary female leadership. All of the wines proudly hail from the Carneros appellation, and 100% of the fruit comes from its six estate vineyards comprising 400 acres.

At Domaine Carneros, the team employs decades of experience in fine winemaking and sustainable farming across the globe to uphold the winery’s 35-year legacy as one of the best sparkling wine estates in North America.
