Cornelia Becker (also called Corni for short) is a wine blogger, passionate about Austrian wineries and wines. She was born in 1978 and lives in Lower Austria with her family. As many other experts, she is convinced that Austrian wines have excellent quality and can definitely compete with the great wines from France, Italy, Spain, and other well-known wine regions. Being an ardent traveller, Corni discovered her passion for wine and decided to take on this new journey.

She started her wine education at the Austrian wine Academy since they offered a gradual step-by-step learning. As for now, Corni is working further on expanding her knowledge of the wine world and has recently passed the certification for Advanced 2 course (Wines and Spirits International) with distinction, which is comparable to WSET3. In spring of 2022, she successfully completed the official tasting examination for wine at the viticulture school and now Corni hopes to be included in a tasting commission.

She invites her audience to follow her on the exciting wine journey around her beloved homeland – Austria.
