Claudia Maremonti, born and raised in Cosenza, has a great passion for wine that over time led her to accumulate experiences, complete a sommelier course, and open her Instagram page by collaborating with some blogs. In 2020, after a series of introduction courses to wine, she obtained a sommelier diploma from AIS (the Italian Sommelier Association) delegation of Cosenza. Her passion for wine drives her to write and share the sensations and emotions captured in each and every glass.

Claudia is in sales in the Wedding sector with a past as an energy mechanical engineer. She loves traveling to discover wineries, territories and producers because this world is a whirlwind of new discoveries and new emotions. She enjoys very much organizing guided tastings and making people discover more of her area. She also offers digital consultancy services for wineries, wine bars and restaurants.

It all began as a personal diary that Claudia initially shared with a group of friends, then with those who shared her same passion for wine. Thanks to her Instagram profile, which today has over 21K followers @claudia_sommelier, Claudia has been able to not only share the products of her region, but also Italian wine producers and companies, becoming a reference point for many users, who are now, as she says, all friends of a large community.

Claudia started from her region, Calabria, because it is often the wine-growing region that is set aside and less well-known, but in reality it has great wines to discover and great historical realities that are worth exploring.
