Wine Leaders' Choice

Village Shilda, Georgia

Chubini Wine Cellar is located in Village Shilda, at the foothills of Caucasus Mountain, with spectacular panorama view. There you can taste wines fermented in Qvevri, a tradition which counts 8000 years. Guests will be hosted personally by the owner, who will introduce history of Georgian wine making, local grapes and viticulture.

It was founded by Tornike Chubinidze. in the very first year, wines have been exported to 4 countries on 3 continents. Chubini’s production is quite limited, paying more attention to quality rather than quantity. Endemic Georgian grape varieties, unique method of Qvevri winemaking, natural and organic approach – these are the characteristics that make their wines special.
