At Château la Négly, the Paux-Rosset family is dedicated to pursuing a qualitative strategy that aims to establish the estate as a reference for wines in the Languedoc region. With a commitment to preserving the environment, the cultivation methods have been modified, and the majority of the vines are now cultivated using sustainable practices.
Situated in a picturesque location facing the sea, the castle’s geographical position has inspired a new approach to oenotourism. Plans are underway to construct a new tasting cellar that will provide a professional and welcoming environment for visitors. Whether exploring the cellars or strolling through the vineyards during the appropriate seasons, guests will have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the unique universe of Château la Négly.

Driven by their passion for wine, the family has gone above and beyond by creating a charming house on the hillside called Coste Care. This addition allows clients to experience a privileged stay in the heart of the estate, providing a truly immersive experience. The couple’s children, Bastien and Marion, are actively involved and bring their dynamism as they prepare for an exciting future.
Located in the heart of the Massif de La Clape, Château la Négly benefits from an ideal exposure and a diverse range of soils. The Boède vineyard is characterized by silty sand and sandstone, while La Négly boasts clay limestone soils, imparting a wide aromatic palette to the wines produced from these vineyards.

La Clape is renowned for its selection of soils, each contributing to the perfect expression of the grapes. The presence of flat stones, red lands rich in oxidized iron, grey or yellow marls, and red or white sandstone create a unique and varied landscape. Blessed with abundant sunshine and the influence of thirteen winds, the climate in La Clape is dry and challenging.
The vineyard at Château la Négly operates under the HVE3 (High Environmental Value) label, emphasizing sustainable practices. The soils are regularly worked to enhance aeration and foster the development of microbial life.

The white wines of Château la Négly are subtle and display great aromatic finesse. Varieties such as Bourboulenc, Clairette, Marsanne, Roussanne, and recently Vermentino thrive in the vineyards.
The red wines are indulgent, dense, and complex. Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah are the primary red grape varieties, with Syrah being the dominant grape at La Négly. Complementary varieties such as Carignan and Cinsault contribute to the overall complexity of the wines.
Château la Négly continues to craft exceptional wines that embody the unique terroir of the Languedoc region.
