Champagne Boizel

Épernay, France

Champagne Boizel has embraced a set of values that form the foundation of its identity: high standards, generosity, loyalty, and a love for freedom. These principles have guided the Boizel House since its inception, shaping its philosophy and defining its success. The Boizel family, through generations, has passionately upheld these values, making Champagne Boizel what it is today.

The remarkable feature of the House is its unique leadership structure, always run by two pairs of hands, with women playing an equal role to men. This commitment to equality has yielded generations of exceptional wines, showcasing the true essence of the terroir and constantly striving for uncompromising quality. Throughout the history of Champagne Boizel, a strong bond has been formed, fueled by passion, dedication, a sense of duty, a desire to excel, and independent thinking, and these values continue to thrive today.

.

Since its establishment in 1834, Champagne Boizel has aimed to reveal the best that the Champagne region has to offer through precise and generous wines that reflect the region’s incredible terroir diversity. However, the Boizel family offers much more than just their exquisite Champagnes; they offer a profound set of values that permeate their winemaking practices and are mirrored in their creations.

Today, Florent and Lionel Roques-Boizel carry the responsibility of leading the House, injecting a fresh dynamic into Boizel’s development and winemaking. They remain devoted to the family’s tradition of quality and generosity, fully aware of the duty they bear and the significance of the legacy they share. Guiding one of the world’s most highly regarded family Champagne Houses is an honor they deeply appreciate, and they apply their ethos of independent thinking to craft genuine and authentic wines.

.

.

Across generations, the Boizel family has acquired a profound understanding of Champagne’s terroirs. The Boizel vineyards span across 7 hectares of prestigious crus in Champagne, including the historic origins of the Boizel family in Avize and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.

Additionally, the House collaborates with partner winegrowers, sourcing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Grand and Premier Crus of the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, along with Meunier grapes from the finest vineyards in Vallée de la Marne. The savoir-faire accumulated over the years continues to be refined and perfected by the sixth generation of the family. They persistently explore Champagne’s most exceptional terroirs, unveiling its ultimate expression through their meticulously crafted wines.
