Bubbles Hyland was destined for the wine industry with the nickname she was given from birth! British born but now living in Cape Town for the past 17 years she has become an avid ambassador of South African wine. She formed Well Red Wine Magazine aiming to give an educated yet approachable commentary on a wine producing country which is a new world geographically but often leans to the old world stylistically.

Bubbles calls herself a Self proclaimed, unofficial ambassador of South African wines. Moreover, she is actively contributing to the South African’s Women in wine initiative, as she believes that women in wine seem to have been overlooked, but now they are finally getting the recognition they deserve. In her media, Bubbles is telling about the phenomenal professional female players in the South African wine industry.

Wine consumes Bubbles completely, both in work; as a wine broker and after hours as Editor and founder of Well Red Wine Magazine. Wine is her passion and it’s also her job. Bubbles has been ingrained in the South African wine industry for over 10 years, initially as a sales representative for Siris Vinters and presently as a shareholder and Sales Manager at MorVino Wine Merchants. MorVino represents 22 boutique wine farms from across the Cape Winelands, acting as their sole distributor and managing their warehousing, sales and distribution in the Western Cape.
